If you use our website, create an account, or purchase hosting from TridentHost, these terms apply. They cover Minecraft Hosting, Hytale Hosting, and Code Hosting.

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms. If you are buying on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so. We serve customers worldwide; our primary server location is New York, USA.

2. Services Provided

We provide hosting plans, access to our management panel, and customer support. Plan features and limits are shown at checkout and in the panel.

From time to time we may carry out maintenance or make changes for security and performance. When possible, we will give notice ahead of time.

  • All servers run on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors with NVMe SSD storage
  • You may upgrade or downgrade your hosting plan at any time through the game panel
  • We provide DDoS protection as standard on all plans

3. Your Account

Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. Those under 18 require parental or guardian consent
  • You must provide accurate billing and contact information
  • You must not share your account credentials with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Do not use our services for unlawful activity or in a way that harms our network, other customers, or third parties. The following are prohibited and may result in suspension or termination (including immediate termination for serious or repeated breaches):

  • Hosting content that violates UK, US, or international law
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious software
  • Launching DDoS attacks or other network attacks against any target
  • Excessive resource usage that negatively impacts other customers' services
  • Hosting pirated content or material that infringes copyright
  • Using our services to harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other customers' servers

5. Payment Terms

Services are billed in advance on a recurring basis (typically monthly unless stated otherwise). Payment is due at the start of each billing period.

  • There are no setup fees for any of our plans
  • Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing customers
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension until payment is received
  • VAT will be charged where applicable in accordance with UK tax law

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 72-hour money-back guarantee for first-time customers on their first purchase.

  • Refund requests must be made within 72 hours of initial purchase
  • The guarantee is void if you have violated our Acceptable Use Policy
  • After the 72-hour period, all payments are non-refundable
  • Service cancellations do not entitle you to a prorated refund
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days

7. Service Availability and Data

We work to keep services reliable, but downtime can happen.

  • We target 99.9% uptime but do not provide a formal SLA guarantee
  • We will announce planned maintenance when possible
  • We are not liable for any data loss. You must maintain your own backups
  • Any automated backups included with your plan are provided as a courtesy only
  • We reserve the right to delete data from terminated accounts after 7 days

8. Service Termination

We may suspend or terminate your service if:

  • You breach these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Non-payment of invoices
  • Fraudulent activity or chargebacks
  • Abusive behaviour towards staff or other customers

For serious violations, termination may be immediate and without refund. We will normally notify you by email. Data associated with terminated accounts may be deleted after 7 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms removes rights you may have under law. To the extent permitted by law, TridentHost is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business).

If we are liable to you for a claim relating to the services, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we will try to notify you by email or through the panel.
